Recent Obsession during my sitting duck period.

Heyyy look who's a graduate now. Me. ha-ha.....
Okay okay many others are also graduates. But ey, cheers to me yeah.

So while I'm waiting for many events to happen in the next step of my life, I will call my current situation a sitting duck situation.

Honestly, I'm so-damn-bored.
And because of this boring situation I am in, I have developed a certain obsession towards some specific Hollywood stars.  So who am I so obsessed with?

*drum rolls*

My current love is.... one and only German-Irish Michael Fassbender.

He's so charming! Also he's such a fun guy that doesn't look like he came out of a cookie cutter from Hollywood.

Due to my boredom, i have come to stalked this particular Hollywood star. And my lock screen picture on my phone once belong to beloved Oli Sykes has been finally replaced by Fassbender after... approximately a year?

I re-watched all of the X-men movie series with Fassbender in it and also found other movies that he starred in. One of the movies that I should note is Frank. The character he was in Frank is totally different from his normal serious, constipated eyebrow look. Well to be more specific, you won't be able to see his face almost the entire film. But I still get to see his biceps, for that I am happy enough to keep watching.

That was one of the most weirdest and chill movie I've watched in a while. This movie also made me realize, to be in a band, it's not as easy as it seems. You can see popular music bands doing wonderful, but what we don't see is something called "Behind the scenes".

When I was in my teens, I wanted to be in a band as well, I loved rock music (I still do), I loved singing. I remember the days me and my friends would go for karaoke every once in awhile. It was great. I used to take 45 minutes to a hour of singing random songs in my room going through a collection of lyrics I printed or hand written out.

Although I could play the piano, I never liked playing it and singing at the same time. I always felt like I was being compared to my elder sister which really made me uncomfortable. But that's an entirely different story to talk about.

Then one day I left home and went to study abroad. Three years passed by just like that. There's no piano to train with here. So I worked part time and got myself an ukulele. It's not a great one, but sounds good enough for me. Feels like I should include a short recording of the ukulele. Hmm...

Click here!! Listen to me sing a random song with my ukulele!

Anyway, once I got the ukulele, I had absolutely no idea how to play this weird instrument that looks like a younger brother of a guitar. Every now and then when I had time after dealing with assignments/projects/studying for exams, I would try practicing my strumming while singing along to songs I loved.

And.... as much as I loved singing, as much as I wanted to be in a band, I sadly was never in a band. Which is something I still hope for in the future, you never know, maybe I might meet awesome people that I could join in to do the band dream I always wanted.

So, regarding the "behind the scenes" of successful bands. I know it's never easy, you get people hating on your music, nobody shows up to your gig. And this movie, Frank, just reminded me of why I did not drop out of middle/high school to start a band.

Besides that movie, I watched Prometheus, which of course Fassbender is also in. It's those almost typical alien-kill-us all type of film. Don't get me wrong, I think the film is great! The visuals are awesome. And to know that most of the nice sets we see in the movie are real, its really cool. Problem I had with it is that, it's something that's of a genre I watched when I was younger. So nothing fresh or new there.

And there's dear Michael Fassbender checking out space holograms in the movie.

It's been awhile since I made a blog post. I had so much to complain and never turned to blogger to do it. I think it's good I got rid of the "shit, I need to complain, blogger time." habit. But heh, blogs isn't the most popular way of expressing yourself now, it's vlogs man. I tried vlogging. Let's just say... It's not as enjoyable as me typing into my keyboard right now. Plus, talking to a damn camera is so weird!

Another picture of Fassbender who has successfully overtaken my lock screen.

Right. Been awhile since I've posted anything and it's a long one.
Signing off.
